Frequently Asked Questions / Help Q. Does my animal friend have to be present or with me for the consultation? A. Telepathic communication happens over distance. Your animal does not have to be present with you at the time of your session. Your intention for communication is all that is needed. The animals are most often so willing and excited to participate, it just flows. Often, the purpose of consultations is to address illness or injury, and animals may be inpatients in the hospital or clinic when we talk. This is fine. If you are at home with your animal friend please do not keep her or him confined to the room you are in. Let them move about as they wish and feel comfortable. They are still communicating with us, and allowing them to relax in their own way is respectful. Q. Can you communicate with my animal companion who has passed over from this life? A. Yes. Animals stay close to us in spirit long after they have left their bodies. They are available to us when we call on them - for communication, insight, guidance and blessing. It can be very interesting and beautiful to hear about their experience crossing over and what it is like for them on the other side. It can be so healing and uplifting to communicate with your animal companions who have passed over. You may find new awareness and great comfort in talking with their ever beautiful spirit. Q. Can you read my thoughts in a consultation? A. I am not interested in "reading your thoughts". I am a professional animal communicator and I hold great respect for all involved (you, the animals and myself). I practice under and abide by the Code of Ethics found on this site, as published by Penelope Smith. My goal is to receive detailed information from your animal friend and convey that information to you in the clearest way possible. Having you as part of the consultation adds energy and intention and love to the session and is very helpful in facilitating the flow of conversation. I will not get any information that is not helpful or intended to be shared during my work with your animal friend and you. Q. How do you know it is my animal you are talking to? A. The connection is very strong when we work together. Again, the intention that you, your animal friend and I bring together to the consultation creates the connection for the communication to happen. I will ask you for some specific information describing your animal: name, age, sex, breed, color and any special markings. Usually the connection is instant and the information the animal shares right away makes it very clear to you that he or she is right there ready to communicate with us. If you feel more comfortable sending a picture before your consultation, that is fine. I will send it back immediately following your scheduled time. Q. Can I learn to communicate with animals too? A. Absolutely! Everyone has the ability to re-learn this skill if they have an open heart, true intention, and respect for all animals as unique, intelligent, spiritual beings - capable of complex thought, feelings, emotion and purpose. Opening up to animal communication is truly a very individual spiritual journey, that will change your life... It gets better and better and better.....they have so much to share.
